For the past 18 years, Grindrod Marine Services has been, and continues to be, responsible for the logistical support (marine equipment, stores, spares and provisions) of the diverse Unicorn Shipping fleet and various other vessels operating worldwide - from the United States to South America, Europe, the Middle East, Far East, Australia and Africa. This service has also included the local and international support of new-building vessels and the support of operational vessels during dry-docking and refits.
Grindrod Marine Services has first hand experience of supporting a very diverse profile of vessels, including offshore tugs and support vessels, harbour tugs, dredgers and pilot boats, petroleum and chemical tankers, container vessels, bulk carriers and multi-purpose vessels.
The company also enjoys the exclusive agency for a comprehensive network of international marine and industrial equipment, spares, lifeboat, stores and provision suppliers - testimony to the world class standards and credibility achieved by the Groups' executives and the young and dynamic management team.
